Relief Facility Manager / Customer Service Representative (Part-Time)
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Facility Manager to join our self-storage team. This part-time position is based at our Ennis facility and is responsible for assisting customers, managing self-storage and U-Haul rentals, maintaining the property, and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and enjoys providing excellent customer service. No prior experience is required—training will be provided.
Schedule:
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with self-storage unit and U-Haul rentals.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving tenant concerns.
- Process payments and maintain accurate customer records.
- Assist with trailer hookups and equipment orientation as needed.
- Conduct facility inspections and perform routine cleaning and property upkeep.
- Monitor the property and report maintenance, safety, or security issues.
- Support daily operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn rental and management software.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Ability to perform light physical work, including cleaning, property upkeep, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with U-Haul rentals, trailer hookups, or customer service is a plus.
